HOW ONLINE TRAINING WORKS

IN-DEPTH CONSULTATION

We start with a consultation, so that I am crystal clear on exactly what your goal is and if there has been anything that has held you back from achieving it.

 

On this call we will discuss your workout history, potential restrictions/injuries, access to equipment, and what all you need from me to be successful. I will also explain my process for training my clients, the approach I take, and go through any questions you may have. Once we have been able to learn more about each other, we can then decide if we would like to move forward and get a workout program started.

REVIEW & SUPPORT

Throughout the week I will track your workouts and review them once completed. I look at the exercises you did, weight lifted, sets/reps completed, and answer any questions or address any issues you had during your workout.

I will also track your nutrition and macros via MyFitnessPal, to ensure that you are getting the fuel your body needs to reach your fitness goals. 

 

I will stay with you every step of the way, motivate you on days that you need it, and keep you on track!

TAILORED PROGRAM

A one size fits all approach to workout programs is not always the best option. I see a lot of personal training companies and fitness applications marketing workout programs that are built for everyone. To me, every individual is different and has different requirements and needs.

 

As we get older, our bodies have their quirks and foibles and we can’t always exercise the way we used to when we were young. I create personalized workout programs, based on your goals, limitations, and the amount of time you are able to dedicate to working out. Your program will have been designed specifically for you and no one else. I will never send you a one size fits all type program.

PERSONALIZED 1-ON-1 ONLINE COACHING

My programs are great for anyone looking for a workout plan designed specifically for them but do not need or want an in-person coach. I recommend my programs to anyone who is looking to build strength, get back in shape, lose weight, or improve overall health. Workout programs and nutritional guidance are tailored specifically to your individual needs and based off your fitness goals. Whatever your fitness and nutritional goals may be, I can help you achieve them!

I will walk you through every step of the way and we will work together on a regular basis to ensure you are reaching your milestones and working towards your goals.

Each package includes:

  • A 30 minute consultation session with me so we can get to know each other, understand your fitness goals, and evaluate your access to exercise equipment, etc. 

  • A workout program designed specifically for you to meet your fitness goals.

  • Personalized macros and nutritional guidance.

  • Unlimited access to chat with me via the Trainerize app and check ins.

    • Use of the Trainerize App that provides how to videos for your exercises, allows you to track your progress and body stats, and ability to connect your Apple Watch, Garmin, or Fitbit! 

  • Weekly check-ins to determine what went well that week, what needs improvement, struggles you may have had, and to ensure that you stay motivated and accountable! 

  • IS THERE A MINIMUM TIME YOU WOULD RECOMMEND COACHING?
    It completely depends on you as a client. Most of my clients are with me from 6-12 months because they enjoy the progress they see and the knowledge they obtain in my coaching. However, there is a minimum commitment of 3 months, this is generally how long we would need to work together in order for you to see changes and progress. Remember that this is not a quick fix and overnight results are not what I offer. My approach is to be able to maintain a healthy, sustainable, and enjoyable lifestyle.
  • CAN I WORKOUT AT HOME WITH YOUR PLANS?
    The answer is yes and no. This really depends on your fitness goals and the types of equipment you have available to you at home. For example, if your main goal is to build strength but only have 1 set of dumbbells, this may be a little more difficult to achieve. However, if you have a set of resistance bands, a TRX training suspension trainer, or a few sets of dumbbells, then building strength could be a goal we could work towards together.
  • HOW WILL I TRACK MY PROGRESS?
    The Trainerize app allows me to track your progress and is where you will enter your reps and pounds that you lift for each exercise. It is compatible with Apple iOS and Android operating systems. Trainerize also lets you enter in your measurements and upload progress photos so that I can keep a close eye on your progress and ensure you are on track to achieve your goal.
  • DO I NEED TO HAVE PRIOR WORKOUT EXPERIENCE?
    No, not at all! The training program I design for you will clearly show how each exercise should be performed through the use of the app. The app has videos that show proper form for each assigned exercise and you will be able to send me videos of your form through through the app. There will also be weekly check-ins, where you can ask me about any questions, issues, or feedback you have.
  • CAN YOU MAKE A PLAN AROUND MY INJURIES?
    This really depends on the type of injury you have and how long ago or how recent the injury occurred. We can discuss injuries in our consultation to determine if we are a good fit for each other.
